CHAMARAJANAGAR: A man has been awarded a 20-year-jail term for sexually assaulting his five-year-old daughter when no one was at home. The child-friendly and 1st Additional District and Sessions Court also ordered Rs 6 lakh compensation to the victim.
Syed Muzammil (45) had abused his five-year-old daughter when no one was at home. The child’s mother is Muzammil third wife. The Chamarajanagar police had filed a chargesheet and after detailed hearing, the court ordered 20 years imprisonment for Muzammil.
