BENGALURU: The body of an aged person, which was found wrapped and dumped by the roadside in Puttenahalli, has been identified as that of businessman Subramanyam (67). He had died after he suffered a cardiac arrest while indulging in a sexual act and his lover, with help from her husband and her brother, had dumped the body by the roadside, fearing that their relationship would be exposed.
Subramanyam had an illicit affair with his 35-year-old domestic help who also did odd jobs at his office. In the evening on November 16, he left home but did not return, following which a missing person’s complaint was filed by his family members. He had gone to the domestic help’s house where he died after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Afraid that their relationship would be exposed, woman called her husband and her brother and they dumped the body in an isolated place. The next day, his body was found in Rose Garden area of JP Nagar, wrapped in plastic bags and bedsheets.
After examining call records of the deceased, the police questioned the woman, who admitted to dumping the body by the roadside. She also told the police that she was scared she would be arrested for murder.
The businessman had had undergone an angiogram in August 2022 and was also suffering from other health issues.
