VIJAYAPURA: A man ended his life by deliberately coming under a moving bus here on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred at Tipu Sultan Circle and the deceased was identified as Vishwanath Shankaraiah (38).
As he saw a bus approaching, Vishwanath threw the mobile phone in his hand and came under the rear wheels of the bus. The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera. It is said that Vishwanath hailed from Arasikere taluk in Hassan, but the motive for his action was not known.
The police are now trying to contact his family members and relatives. The Gandhi Chowk police have registered a case.
