Man dies after KSRTC bus collides with two-wheeler on Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway

BENGALURU: A man died and another was seriously injured after a KSRTC bus, which was violating the one-way rule to avoid paying the toll on the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, collided with a two-wheeler near Rajarajeshwari Hospital near Kengeri on Mysuru Road on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Siddappa (35) and the injured person has been identified as Puttaswamy (40). The KSRTC bus was traveling from Bengaluru to Mysuru. When the bus reached the Kaniminike toll plaza, the driver returned on a one-way stretch to avoid paying the toll. At that time, the bus hit the two-wheeler, killing one person on the spot while the other one was immediately admitted to Rajarajeshwari Hospital for treatment.

The Kumbalagodu police rushed to the spot and have registered a case.
