BENGALURU: A 35-year-old man died after being knocked down by a KSRTC bus near New Nijagal Gate in Nelamangala taluk. The victim, Vijay, was a native of Haryana and had come to Bengaluru with friends in a Mahindra Bolero SUV.
The incident occurred when he was crossing the road with friends to drink tea. The KSRTC bus that was traveling from Muddebihal to Bengaluru, hit Vijay and he died on the spot.
The Nelamangala traffic police arrested KSRTC bus driver and seized the bus.
