Man arrested in love jihad case

BENGALURU: A man was arrested in connection with an alleged love jihad case by the Amruthahalli police based on a complaint lodged against him. The accused is Mohammad Ishaq.

Ishaq allegedly lured a woman into a relationship, promising marriage, and had physical relationship with her. However, when she refused to convert to Islam, he abandoned her and got engaged to another woman.

The case was later transferred to the Amruthahalli police station, who arrested Ishaq.
