BENGALURU: Residents of Malleswaram rescued a kite (bird) which had got entangled in a kite thread and was stuck on a tree. The incident occurred on Malleswaram 2nd Cross and the kite was battling for its life for over an hour.
Local residents, who spotted the bird, tried for over an hour to rescue it and when they could not, they called the BBMP helpline. The BBMP staff, along with the locals, then managed to untangle the thread from the kite’s legs and provided medical attention. The BBMP staff later took the bird to a veterinary hospital for further treatment.
