Major forest fire in BRT tiger reserve

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Forest fires broke out at more than three locations in the Punajoor range of the BRT tiger reserve on Monday. The fire spread quickly due to the heat and the dry twigs and branches.

Hundreds of acres of forest was engulfed in the fire and the Forest Department was making all efforts to douse it.
