BENGALURU: Maheshwar Rao, Managing Director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) took charge as the new Chief Commissioner of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) today.

He will be taking over the additional charge of BBMP Chief Commissioner, while continuing as MD of BMRCL.
