BELAGAVI: The Malamaruti police have arrested two of the three killers in the murder case of Nagaraj Gadivaddar at Shivabasava Nagara in the district. Nagaraj Gadivaddar (26) was a resident of Ramnagar in Belagavi.
Kolhapur-based Prathamesh Kasabakar (20) and Akash Pawar (21) had killed Nagaraj by hitting him with a stone. At present, two accused have been arrested with the cooperation of Kolhapur LCB police.
A search for the other prime accused, who is absconding, is on. The exact reason for the murder will be known only after the prime accused is found. Belagavi Commissioner SN Siddaramappa has announced a reward for the police team for cracking the case within 48 hours of the incident.
