HASSAN: A young boy, fettered in chains, was found by the roadside near Kyanalli in Sakleshpur taluk on Wednesday. The identity of the boy was not known as he refused to speak.
The boy was found all alone by some local sitting by the roadside chained around his waist and left ankle with a padlock. When they tried to question him, the boy refused to speak.
The Sakleshpur Rural police were immediately informed who rushed to the spot and took custody of the boy. Further investigation is under way.
