SHIVAMOGGA: The locomotive of the Talaguppa-Bengaluru Intercity Express train detached itself from the bogies just as it was leaving the Shivamogga railway station. The incident occurred early on Friday and luckily, there was no loss of life or damage.
The incident occurred near Bidare and the staff immediately brought the locomotive to a halt after it detached from the bogies. There was some anxiety among among the passengers for some time due to the incident.
The locomotive was attached again to the bogies and the train continued its journey towards Bengaluru without incident. However, there was some delay in the train reaching Bengaluru.
