Leopard spotted in Guledagudda town

BAGALKOT: A leopard had entered Guledagudda town and has been captured on CCTV camera moving around the house of one Surendra Pawar near the Amba Bhavani temple around 2.26 am on Monday.
The incident has set off panic as the leopard was seen roaming within the town. Earlier, leopard sightings have been reported at Kalasa, Kittali and Sulla villages in Badami taluk.

At Banavikallu village in Kudligi taluk of Vijayapura district, another leopard was spotted in the Jarmali forest range adjacent to the village. The leopard had previously been spotted some months back and villagers are now demanding that it be captured and shifted elsewhere.
