BENGALURU: Late actor ‘Rebel Star’ Ambareesh and Mandya MP Sumalatha’s son and actor Abhishek Ambareesh entered wedlock with his long-time girlfriend Aviva Bidappa today. The wedding ceremony held in Chamara Vajra Manikya hall in Bengaluru between 9.30 am and 10.30 am muhurtham in a grand manner.
The couple looked stunning in traditional attire. The pre-wedding rituals such as ‘mehandi’, ‘haldi’, ‘vara puje’ were performed at the residence earlier.
Abhishek-Aviva were in love for many years. Now, they have entered marital life with the blessings of both families. Aviva Bidappa is the daughter of well-known fashion designer Prasad Bidappa and she herself is recognised in the modeling field. The marriage was performed as per Vokkaliga traditions.
Many celebrities graced the wedding ceremony and showered blessings upon the couple. They included superstar Rajinikanth, Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, KGF star Yash and family, Kiccha Sudeep, cricketer Anil Kumble, former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Tamil actor Mohan Babu, Telugu actor Naresh, actress Pavitra Lokesh, actress Shubhra Ayyappa, producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. Many artists and technicians including singer Vijay Prakash were present.
A grand reception will be held in Tripuravasini and a family get-together will be held in Mandya on June 16. It is expected that around one lakh people are expected to participate in the ceremony. Eminent figures from the film industry and political fields will participate in this event.
