Lalbagh flower show attracts over 40,000 on Sunday

BENGALURU: The 218th historic flower show is being held at Lalbagh, the botanical garden, ahead of Independence Day. This year’s flower show was based on the life of Kittur Rani Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna.

The flower show received an overwhelming response, with 40,645 people visiting the exhibition on the first day alone. This included 26,770 adults, 5,225 children, and 8,650 school students.

    As per the Horticulture department, the total ticket collection on the first day was Rs 18,52,960. Over the past four days, a total of 1,38,216 people have visited the flower show.
