The Congress has targeted the CM and Revenue Minister R Ashoka.

BENGALURU: Hours after the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda statue was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Karnataka Congress took potshots at Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai saying that he had to squeeze himself in the frame for a photoshoot.

“Should the chief minister of the state have to struggle for a photo? (Basavaraj) Bommai is unable to stand freely next to the Prime Minister, which is an insult to the post of CM. The puppet CM has to push aside Jaggesh so that he could be seen in the photo, which is pathetic”, the Congress tweeted sarcastically in Kannada.

Targeting Revenue Minister R Ashoka, the Congress, in another tweet, said, ” Swamijis have their own respect and dignity. Does @RAshokaBJP think it casual to put his hand over the Adichunchanagiri Mutt seer’s shoulder? Does he have the courage to do the same with Modi? Leaders of the @BJPKarnataka who talk about dharma and culture don’t have any knowledge about values”.
