BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to go completely online for issuing student and concessional bus passes for the year 2023-24 through the Seva Sindhu portal of the Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) department.
Since the EDCS is making preparations for it, students will be given time to avail of the bus passes and can travel for free till June 15, 2023. This move has been taken to ensure that students are not inconvenienced as classes have started since May 31.
Students of schools and colleges can produce the 2022-23 bus pass and the fee paid receipt for the current academic year as proof of admission and travel in the buses, according to a circular issued by the managing director of the transport corporation.
