KARWAR: A KSRTC bus parked at the Kumta depot was gutted after a fire broke out in the vehicle in the wee hours on Monday. It is suspected that an electrical short circuit may have caused the fire.
The blaze was noticed around 2 am and the Fire and Emergency Services was immediately notified following which they rushed to the bus depot and put out the fire. However, the bus was completely charred.
