The KSRTC bus jumped the carriageway after hitting the retaining wall of the flyover.

BENGALURU: A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus jumped the carriageway after hitting the retaining wall on the flyover along the Nelamangala highway near Adakamaranahalli after the driver lost control on Saturday morning. The bus was coming to Bengaluru from Somwarpet in Kodagu district.

The bus was hanging precariously in the gap between the two carriageways on the flyover. Four passengers, the bus driver and conductor sustained injuries in the incident and were admitted to a hospital.

There were 35 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. It is said that the mishap occurred when the bus driver was trying to overtake another vehicle. The passengers had a lucky escape as there would have been several casualties had the bus fallen through the gap between the two carriageways.
