BENGALURU: A contractor of the Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Ltd (KRIDL) has alleged that the authorities have been threatening him after he complained to the Lokayukta regarding illegalities in work.
Contractor Mohan Kumar complained to the Lokayukta that there were illegal activities happening in the KRIDL. The officials, who came to know about the complaint, allegedly threatened Mohan Kumar of his life.
Following this, the contractor filed a private complaint in court, and an FIR was registered against seven officials of the department in the Annaporneshwari police station on the direction of the court. Further investigation is under way.
