BENGALURU: In an unusual incident, the police and parents of a six-year-old girl launched a manhunt for the child assuming that she had been kidnapped, only to find her asleep at home next to a pile of clothes.
Meena, a resident of Janata Colony in K R Puram, suddenly found her daughter missing and approached the K R Puram police alleging that the child had been kidnapped. The police and the child’s parents then searched the locality and adjoining areas for the child.
When they could not locate her, they returned to the house. There, they found the child sleeping on a bed next to a pile of clothes and both the parents and the police team heaved a sigh of relief.
