Kiccha Sudeep serves legal notice on movie producer over charges of not giving call sheet

BENGALURU: Popular actor Kiccha Sudeep has planned to take legal action against film producer K C N Kumar after the latter alleged that the actor had taken money to act in a movie but had not given a call sheet yet.

Recently, the producer had lodged a complaint with the film chamber accusing Kiccha Sudeep of taking crores, but not giving his call sheet. Following this, Sudeep has issued a legal notice stating that Kumar should prove all his allegations or apologise and pay Rs 10 crore for defamation within three days. He has also planned to file a criminal case against producer M N Suresh for allegedly instigating Kumar to attempt suicide.

The producer addressed a press conference at the film chamber on Saturday.

Kumar had addressed a press conference and claimed that Kiccha Sudeep had taken an advance payment six years ago, but had not provided a call sheet. He later Public TV that he did not make allegations, but had only made a request. He also said he had received the notice on WhatsApp and he would go by what the film chamber decides.

Sources close to Sudeep said he will not make any public comments on the issue at this stage on the advise of his lawyers.
