BELAGAVI: The husband of KAS officer Reshma Talikoti committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Azam Nagar in the city on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Zafar Firzadeh (39).
On Monday afternoon, Zafar committed suicide when no one was at home. He was under FDA training at the DTI and the exact reason for his suicide is not yet known. Reshma Talikoti had gone to Bengaluru for official purposes, as she is working as a special land acquisition officer for the Hidkal Dam project.
The body has been sent to BIMS for post-mortem examination. The incident occurred within APMC police limits.
