MANGALURU: ‘Kantara’ actress Sapthami Gowda visited Durgaparameshwari temple at Kateel along with her mother Shantha and actor Shanil Guru on Wednesday.

She offered special puja and sought the blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari. The temple priest gave her the Goddess’ shesha vastra (cloth) and prasadam.

Following her visit to the temple, Sapthami Gowda spoke to media persons and said, “I feel proud about the success of the movie ‘Kantara’. I did not know much about the significance of daiva worship in Tulunadu. I learnt it from the movie”.

“There is no particular language to act. I am looking for films with good content. I would like to act more in Kannada film. Discussions are on regarding other films. If I get an opportunity in a Tulu movie, I will definitely act in it”, Sapthami Gowda said.
