BENGALURU: The main gate of Jollywood Studios and Adventure Park was sealed in the presence of the tahsildar for violating pollution norms. The adventure theme park is located in Bidadi industrial area of the Bengaluru South district.
The Bigg Boss Kannada-season 12 shooting has been halted in two weeks. The shutdown is due to alleged violation of pollution control norms.
Tahsildar Tejaswini, along with Bidadi Police Inspector Shankar Naik and other revenue department officials, visited the premises. The studio administration initially refused to accept the notice, prompting the Tahsildar to reprimand them. Eventually, the management accepted the notice, and the studio was officially sealed.
The department had previously issued a notice to the studio for non-compliance, but the management failed to take corrective action. After sealing the premises, no activity is being allowed inside.
The park allegedly used 2.5 lakh liters of water daily for water sports without proper waste management. The pollution control board had issued a notice, but the authorities failed to take action.
The studio has been instructed to cease all operations and activities from the next day. The contestants of Bigg Boss may be evicted due to the sealing of the studio, as no activity or personnel will be allowed inside the premises.
