BENGALURU: The Jigani police have arrested a notorious interstate thief who was wanted in more that 30 cases. Sadat Khan, hailing from Seelampur in Delhi, pick waste during the daytime and commit thefts at night.
Sadat Khan was living in a rented house along with his friend Rubin in Kudlu. The police have recovered 40 gm of gold and 1.5 kg of silver from him.
The duo would scout for locked houses during the daytime while picking waste and break into the houses at night. They committed thefts in seven police station limits with more than five cases in Jigani police limits alone.
A team led by inspector Manjunath collected CCTV footage and arrested Sadat Khan from Delhi. They are now on the lookout for Rubin.
