BENGALURU: Passengers of a Jaipur-bound flight had a harrowing time as it did not take off even after five hours, from Terminal-2 of the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Saturday. Angry passengers vented their ire at the airline staff.
An Air India Express flight was scheduled to take off for Jaipur at 7.45 am, but did not. When the passengers inquired with the airline staff, they were told there was a 40-minute delay. When the flight did not take off even after about an hour, the passengers confronted the airline staff again only to be told that it would leave at 10.45 am.
Shockingly, the aircraft hadn’t taken off even at 1.45 pm, after a five-hour delay, leading to much anger among the passengers who took the airline staff to task.
There were also reports of flights to other destinations getting delayed.
