BIDAR: Bengaluru South MP and BJP Yuva Morcha national president Tejasvi Surya on Saturday mocked the Janata Dal (Secular), saying, “Ticket allocation in JD(S) is very easy. If H D Deve Gowda sits down in their kitchen ans discusses ticket distribution, everything will be over in half an hour”.

Speaking at the Yuva Morcha conference here, Tejasvi poked fun at former Prime Minister Deve Gowda’s family, saying, “The confusion in ticket distribution is only among family members — whether it should be given to the daughter-in-law, the son, the daughter or the son-in-law. will end with cooking. They still have not been able to decide whether the daughter-in-law or the son should contest from Hassan”.

Training his  guns on the Congress, he two to three groups will finalise the tickets. “Today, the rebel candidates are fighting on the streets over not getting the party tickets. In the BJP, there is no such practice as sitting at home and finalising the tickets. The central and state leaders will allot tickets after collecting the opinions of party workers”, he noted.

Reacting to a question on actor Kiccha Sudeep lending support to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and the BJP, Surya said, “JD(S) and Congress have made him a villain for supporting BJP. Sudeep had campaigned for Congress in the last polls. He was a gentleman and was a good person then. Now that he has supported the party because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, he is not considered a good person. They are calling for banning his movies. The Congress’ claim that Sudeep is supporting the BJP out of fear of the ED and CBI is just politics”, he said.
