BENGALURU: Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar on Monday said she will write to Prime Minister Modi and the President regarding the incident involving BJP MLC C T Ravi.

“If possible, I will meet Prime Minister Modi and inform him about the issue. They think that they can sideline me in politics. They think that I will break down, sit at home and be sad, by doing such things, but I won’t. I warn them to back off now”, said Laxmi Hebbalkar.

“All members of our party are with us. From Priyanka Gandhi, everyone has called and spoken to me. The Chief Minister called me yesterday and spoke with me. Women of this state are with me”, she stressed. Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar also released a video allegedly showing BJP leader CT Ravi using derogatory language against her and demanded an investigation and forensic examination.

“CT Ravi used derogatory language against me; I will face a hundred CT Ravis. I have records, and I will release them today. You should be ashamed. Do you say it is an encounter? If we come to Chikkamagalur and use this word to your daughters, will you keep quiet? Think about it, CT Ravi speaks ill of me, but no one from the BJP apologizes. Everyone supported him and carried him in procession, instead of questioning him.  Do you have women and children in your household? I won’t let this go, I will fight legally”, she said.
