MANGALURU: Ahead of state assembly elections, slain BJP activist Praveen Nettaru’s house-warming ceremony will be held on April 27 at Bellare. The BJP Yuva Morcha worker was hacked to death by motorcycle-borne men armed with lethal weapons in front of his shop on July 26, 2022, when he was heading back home.

Under the leadership of BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, Praveen Nettaru’s new house was built at a cost of Rs 60 lakh.

Praveen had dreamed of constructing a house for his family. Following his death, as promised by BJP leaders, the house was being built at a cost of Rs 60 lakh under the leadership of MP and state BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

The slain BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru’s newly built house at Bellare in Sullia taluk.

The house, with a plinth area of approximately 2,700 sq ft, was constructed by Mugrody Construction. Following the murder, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel had to face the anger of his own party activists. After this, he decided to take the lead in the construction of the house.

On November 2, 2022, Nalin Kumar Kateel participated in the ground-breaking ceremony for construction of Praveen Nettaru’s house in Bellare. At present, the construction work is almost complete and is set for the housewarming ceremony on April 27.

Amid this, questions are being raised about whether this will work positively for the BJP in coastal Karnataka ahead of the Assembly elections as the construction work of his house has been completed as promised.
