The parents said they had paid Rs 1.50 lakh as college admission fees. Now, they have decided to protest in front of the college. In  the death note, he wrote, “I have suffered a lot and had been harassed by the college. I am not being allowed into the college over an old issue and  I haven’t done anything wrong. I don’t know what to do next, I’m scared”.

Nikhil’s mother Vasanta claimed, “Another student Deepak is responsible for my son’s death because he allegedly insulted and assaulted him in front of everyone. No matter how much I begged for forgiveness, he was suspended from the college. The college staff had sent Nikhil to Avenue Road along with a female classmate on December 4 to purchase some material for cultural activities in the college. But she left without informing Nikhil. He discussed this matter with other students at the college, but some students attacked him as he was allegedly saying bad things about her. The college Dean allegedly insulted and assaulted him for the same issue and suspended him from college. He was depressed after she humiliated him in front of everyone. Thus, he committed suicide by consuming pills and died without responding to treatment.
