History-sheeter whips out sword at liquor store over minor issue, threatens staff

BENGALURU: A history-sheeter damaged glass counters by wielding a sword and breaking articles kept on the counters in a drunken state over a minor issue at a liquor store near Adugodi around 11.40 pm on February 25. The incident has come to light only now.

Rowdy Santhosh and his associates were partying with a girl, identified as Meesho, to celebrate her birthday along with her boyfriend Aftab. Meesho works in a spa and she and her boyfriend hail from Uttar Pradesh.

When they ran out of liquor, the group entered Neela Liquor Store and bought a case of beer. As the girl was in the way, one of the staffers asked her to make way when all hell broke out.

The history-sheeter broke the glass counter with the sword and other articles kept on it.

Santhosh whipped out a sword and went menacingly after the liquor store staffers, struck the glass counter with it and even damaged some other articles kept on the counter. He also attacked the store staffers Yashwanth, Prasanna and Manjunath.

The Adugodi police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
