MYSURU: An added attraction at the Dasara celebrations in the city will be helicopter rides, being conducted by a private aviation company.
The heli-tourism initiative was launched by Rajmata Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of the Mysuru royal family on Tuesday. An eight-minute ride will cost Rs 3,999 per person and will be available from September 28 till October 5.
Chipsan Aviation, which is offering the rides, has deployed two helicopters which will operate from the Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar helipad near Lalit Mahal palace hotel.
