BENGALURU: With work reaching the final stages, the new loop of the Hebbal flyover is all set to be opened to traffic from August 6. The loop connects traffic coming from KR Pura and Nagawara side to Mehkri Circle.

The work on the loop was taken up in 2022 as per the Bangalore Development Authority’s (BDA) plan and was supposed to be completed in 2024. However, the work has been delayed for various reasons.

The 700-metre loop has been constructed on 26 pillars and asphalting work is currently going on. The flyover loop, when opened to traffic next week, will reduce congestion on the flyover.
