BENGALURU: A gym trainer who was indulging in chain snatching, has been arrested by the C K Achchukattu police. He has been identified as Manjunath alias Gym Manju.
Interestingly, Manjunath was living right behind the police station and would snatch gold chains from women in the same locality. He would move in front of the police station confidently so as to not arouse any suspicion and had even befriended some policemen who visited a tea shop in front of the police station.
After his arrest, the police have recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh from him.
