BALLARI: A group of women, who were returning from the Sadhana Samavesha of the Congress, held at Hosapete on Tuesday, pushed a KKRTC bus, which had broken down on National Highway-50, in an attempt to start the vehicle.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, but it was unclear if the women were travelling in the bus or returning home on foot.

The bus was stranded on the highway and in the video, some women, along with one of the bus crew members, can be seen pushing the bus for a little distance till it starts. In another incident, five women, who were returning from the Sadhana Samavesha in an autorickshaw, sustained injuries after an unidentified vehicle collided with it, causing it to overturn.
District Congress president Siraj Sheikh rushed to the spot and helped shift the victims to the 100-bed hospital in Hosapete where they are recovering.
