BALLARI: In a tragic case, a groom suffered a heart attack during his wedding reception and died while being shifted to hospital. The incident occurred at Papinayakanahalli in Hosapete taluk on Wednesday.
The groom Honnuraswamy suffered discomfort and chest pain during the reception right after the wedding ceremony. In a video, he can be seen sitting down after experiencing discomfort and clutching his chest.
He was immediately shifted to a private clinic from where he was referred to a government hospital in Hosapete. However, he died enroute to hospital.
