TIRUPATI: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot visited Tirumala on Wednesday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateshwara at the Srivari temple near Tirupati.
The governor, who was accompanied by officials, arrived at the Tirumala hill by road from Bengaluru on Tuesday night. After an overnight stay, he visited the temple on Wednesday morning.
He offered prayers to Lord Venkateshwara seeking blessings for the people of Karnataka. He also said that he prayed to God for the peace, prosperity and good health of the people of the nation.
After darshan, he was presented with Srivari Thirtha Prasadams, diary, and calendar at Ranganayakula Mandapam by TTD officials.
