BENGALURU: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot planted a Paarijatha (Night-flowering jasmine) sapling on the occasion of World Environment Day on the Raj Bhavan premises.
On the occasion, the governor appealed to people to plant saplings and nurture nature, as their contribution to protect the environment.
Special Secretary R Probhushankar, OSD Shankar Lal Gujer, ADC Sandeep Sharma and Horticulture Senior Assistant Director Chunchaiah B and others were present.
