CHITRADURGA: A girl, who was sent home with her parents from the Bala Mandira, returned within hours saying that she does not want to stay at home.

After the first POCSO case was registered against Murugha Mutt seer Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru, the children studying the educational institution run by the mutt were shifted to the Bala Mandira. On Thursday, the authorities began the process of sending the children back with their parents.

However, within half an hour of being sent with her parents, one girl returned to the house of the former administrative officer of the mutt, S K Basavarajan and met him and his wife Soubhagya, saying that she did not want to stay at home.

Soubhagya Basavarajan then took the girl to the women’s police station. During inquiry, the girl insisted that she would stay with Basavarajan and family, but was sent back to the Bala Mandira.
