Four men stab pet owner as dogs would bark at them

The Vishwanathapura police have launched a search for the absconding accused.

CHIKKABALLAPUR: Four men stabbed a pet owner as his dogs would bark at them, at Doddacheemanahalli in Devanahalli taluk of Bengaluru Rural district. In the attack, the tip of the knife broke and got lodged in the victim’s body.

Madhukumar, who was stabbed, undergoing treatment in a Doddaballapur hospital.

Sunil, Anil, Devaraj and Ajay told Madhukumar to get his dogs to keep quiet as they would bark at them. When the dogs continued barking at them, they stabbed Madhukumar so hard that a part of the knife and got lodged in his back.

It is said that the accused also assaulted Madhukumar’s brother Manjunath, his wife Mamatha and mother Poojamma. Madhukumar is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Doddaballapur and doctors have suggested surgery to remove the part of the knife lodged in his back.

The Vishwanathapura police have registered a case under IPC Sections 307, 504, 506, 354, 324, 149, 143, 147, 148 , 448 & 355 and are on the lookout for the attackers who are absconding.
