BENGALURU: The city police have finally located a stray dog in connection with a case of bestiality after reviewing around 25 CCTV footages. The case was registered on October 15 after a woman, who feeds stray dogs in Kodathi village on Sarjapur Road near Bellandur, filed a complaint.
The woman had alleged that four young men picked up the stray dog lying on the roadside and indulged in bestiality with it. The police have collected the dog’s vaginal swab and sent it to FSL for further investigation. The investigation will determine whether the dog was indeed violated, and then the police will proceed to track down the accused.
The case was initially registered at the Varthur police station, and after preliminary investigation, it was transferred to the Bellandur police station, who are now leading the investigation.
