Four from Yadgir district shine in UPSC exams

YADGIR: Yadagir district, considered one of the most backward districts, has made a remarkable achievement in the UPSC exam. Four candidates from the district have secured ranks, bringing pride to the district and shedding its label as a backward district.

Sandeep Badad, son of a grocery shop owner from Shahapur taluk, secured 82nd rank in the UPSC exam. Nivedita C Bhavimani, a resident of Basaveshwar Nagar in Yadgir, secured 469th rank. Basavaraj Jawali from Shahapur secured 664th rank and Chandrashekhar, the son of a farmer from Chennur village, secured 880th rank.

Nivedita, a doctor, had aspired to become a deputy commissioner since her school days and was even honored by the DC for her achievements. She has now cleared the UPSC exam, fulfilling her dream. Her father, Chandappa, expressed pride in her achievement, saying that parents should support their children’s interests rather than imposing their own aspirations on them.

In another achievement, Kiran Kamate, son of Public Hero Sannappa Kamate from Sankeshwar, secured 53rd rank, making him the topper from Karnataka. Kiran, an engineer in the Public Works Department, Bengaluru, achieved this success in his sixth attempt.

The UPSC results have brought joy and celebration to the families of the successful candidates, who are being hailed as heroes in their district. The families of the successful candidates are being showered with congratulations and praise, and are celebrating their achievement with sweets and festivities.
