KALABURAGI: Four farmers fell seriously ill after spraying pesticide on cotton crop, at Halakarti village in Chittapur taluk on Sunday. The farmers Sunil (34), Anil (22), Kumar (30) and Khemu Rathod are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kalaburagi city.

The farmers had sprayed insecticide on the cotton crop to control a bacterial disease. They immediately started complaining of dizziness, vomiting and diarrhea after they reached home.

The family members immediately admitted them to a private hospital in Kalaburagi for treatment. Their health condition is fluctuating and doctors have kept them under close observation.
