KARWAR: A former participant of a reality show has been arrested for shop theft. The arrested Bhaskar Siddi had participated in Halli Haida Pyateg Banda Season-2.
The Yellapur police, who arrested Bhaskar, have recovered Rs 14, 300 from him and produced him before a court. Bhaskar hails from Balegadde near Halavalli in Ankola taluk.
Bhaskar Siddi became a known face after participating in the reality show. After this, he used to do odd jobs and was working as Vishwas General Stores in Gullapura in Yellapur taluk. He committed the theft two days ago and his act was caught on CCTV camera. Based on the footage he was arrested by the Yellapur police.
