RAICHUR: Former Rajya Sabha member Abdul Samad Siddiqui, a native of Raichur, passed away at the age 87 on Monday due to age-related health issues at a hospital in Hyderabad.
Abdul Samad had played a pivotal role in building and strengthening JDS party during his period. He was an educationist and had served as Member of Parliament from 1988 to 1994.
