MANDYA: Former Member of Legislative Council, H Honnappa, passed away on Wednesday morning due to age-related illness. Honnappa was resident at Induvalu village in Mandya taluk.
He was elected to Legislative Council from the local bodies constituency representing Janata Dal (United) during 1998-2004. Later, he joined BJP and served as district president of the party.
The last rites were held at his native Induvalu village.
