The flex was torn down and dumped near the KSRTC bus stand in Bagepalli.

CHIKKABALAPUR: In the second such incident ahead of the consecretion of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a flex of Lord Ram was torn and dumped in front of the KSRTC bus stand at Bagepalli in the district.

The incident occurred on a day the police conducted a peace meeting on Friday. The flex of Lord Ram had been put up in connection with the ‘Sri Rama Koti Naama Japa’ programme organised in the town.

A flex of Lord Ram was slashed in Mulbagal of Kolar district a few days ago.

This comes on the heels of another incident wherein a flex of Lord Ram was slashed by some miscreants at Mulbagal in Kolar district a few days ago. The Mulbagal Town police arrested two men for tearing Sri Ram’s banners in Jahangir Mohalla and Gungunte Palya villages after checking CCTV footage in the area.

In the footage, the accused was seen cutting the banner using a sharp object around 10.45 pm on Tuesday. The banners were put up on the occasion of the Makara Sankranti festival.
