TUMAKURU: Five people were injured when the driver of a private bus lost control and it overturned on National Highway-75 near Herur in Kunigal taluk in the district.
The bus, which was traveling from Kukke Subrahmanya to Bengaluru, had 24 passengers on board. Five of them were injured in the accident, and the passengers have been admitted to the Kunigal taluk hospital for treatment.
Kunigal police visited the accident site and conducted an investigation. A case has been registered at the Kunigal police station in connection with the incident.
