BELAGAVI: Department of Pre-University Education, Belagavi, has postponed the first-year Pre-University examination by five days in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Belagavi on February 27.
The Pre-University Education Department passed the order to all aided, non-aided colleges in the district. As per the revised timetable, the examination will be began from March 6.
The Deputy Director Pre-University, Belagavi, took the decision by considering the PM’s visit, as there will be no proper availability of public transportation due to traffic diversion and students may not be able to reach their colleges in time.
